Job Description

  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial records for trusts and investments.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Reconcile accounts and perform detailed financial analysis as required.
  • Assist in preparing financial statements and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the wider accounting and finance team to support budgeting and forecasting activities.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to enhance financial processes and controls.
  • Support the audit process by supplying necessary documentation and explanations.
  • Act as a point of contact for queries related to trusts and investments.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Financial Accountant - Trusts and Investments should have:

  • A professional accounting qualification or equivalent educational background.
  • Experience in trusts, investments, or a related area within the not-for-profit sector.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools.
