Finance Transformation Lead - Operations

  • Location: London (Hybrid)
  • Contract: 12-Month Fixed-Term Contract
  • Salary: £110,000 - £120,000 per annum plus discretionary bonus

Reed Finance are partnering with a leading international private-equity backed organisation on the recruitment of an experienced Finance Transformation Lead to play a pivotal role within a high-profile transformation programme. This is a commercially focused finance position, combining financial governance, investment appraisal, budgeting, forecasting, and executive-level reporting in a fast-paced change environment.

This opportunity will required an experienced senior finance professional who can demonstrate they have led a transformation programme of work and have demonstrated experience providing strategic finance advice to C-Suite stakeholders within a fast-paced private-equity backed organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and challenge investment cases, ensuring robust financial assumptions and clear business benefits.
  • Provide financial oversight across multiple transformation workstreams, tracking spend against budget and identifying risks and opportunities.
  • Produce monthly financial reporting and management information for senior stakeholders.
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities for the transformation programme.
  • Develop financial models to support strategic decision-making, resource planning, and investment prioritisation.
  • Ensure strong financial controls, governance, and compliance with internal policies.
  • Partner with programme leaders, finance teams, and senior stakeholders to support delivery of transformation objectives.

About You

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) or qualified by experience.
  • Proven experience supporting large-scale transformation, change, or programme environments.
  • Exposure to contractor workforce management and procurement governance.
  • Ideally experience working within a private-equity backed business within a transformation or operational finance role
  • Strong financial modelling, budgeting, forecasting, and business case evaluation skills.
  • Experience producing board-level or executive financial reporting.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and challenge at senior levels.
  • Comfortable working in a complex, fast-moving, and evolving environment.
