Permanent - Full time, Mid-level

Accounting / Finance, Corporate Finance / M&A

Our Entity Financial Management and Control team serves as a financial control function, providing essential finance support for acquisitions, operational implementation, and ongoing management of regulated and unregulated entities within Macquarie Asset Management. We are dedicated to ensuring the financial integrity of Macquarie Asset Management EMEA's balance sheet and compliance across both regulated and non-regulated entities.

While Macquarie offers hybrid working for many roles, this position requires 3 days a week in our London office.

At Macquarie, we value diversity and empower our people to shape possibilities. As a global financial services group operating in 31 markets with 56 years of profitability, we foster a friendly and supportive environment where everyone contributes ideas and drives outcomes.

What will you do?

As a partner to Macquarie Asset Management EMEA, you will provide expert financial advice and controllership for your business line. You will oversee the balance sheet and P&L, support offshore finance teams with core accounting processes such as month-end close and audits, and translate complex accounting topics for non-accountant stakeholders. Your responsibilities include managing end-to-end financial management for legal entities, including regulated entities, overseeing monthly P&L and Balance Sheet, understanding key process flows, implementing new products and business lines, collaborating with global teams (tax, legal, treasury, financial control), and providing quarterly updates to the Board.

What do you need?
  • A relevant university degree and a formal accounting qualification (ACA or equivalent)
  • 2-5 years of post-qualification experience
  • A proactive problem-solving approach, with the ability to work independently, manage timelines, and demonstrate initiative
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong organisational skills to manage multiple priorities and deadlines

If you're inspired to build a better future with us, we encourage you to apply.
