We are currently supporting a well-established and growing organisation based in London with the appointment of a Finance Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced finance professional looking to take ownership of a broad finance function within a commercially focused business.

The Role

Reporting into senior management, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day finance operations, ensuring accurate reporting, strong financial controls and effective cash management.
You will play a key role in supporting the wider business with financial insight and helping to drive improvements across the finance function.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day finance function, including AP, AR and general ledger
• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reporting
• Manage month-end and year-end close processes
• Monitor cash flow, budgets and forecasts
• Prepare financial analysis and provide commercial insight to senior stakeholders
• Maintain strong financial controls and ensure compliance
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes
• Assist with statutory accounts and audit requirements
• Review and improve existing finance processes and systems
• Manage and develop junior members of the finance team
• Work closely with non-finance stakeholders across the business

About YouWe are looking for someone who is commercially minded, hands-on and confident working across a broad finance remit.

You will ideally have:

• Qualified or part-qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA status, or equivalent experience
• Strong experience within a Finance Manager or similar role
• Excellent knowledge of management accounts and month-end processes
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis
• Strong Excel skills and good experience working with finance systems
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
• The confidence to communicate financial information to non-finance stakeholders
• A proactive approach with the ability to work independently
