Job Description
The Finance Manager will oversee financial reporting, compliance, and cost control processes within a leading manufacturing organisation.
Client Details
A large multinational manufacturing group with a strong emphasis on efficiency and resource optimisation.
Description
- Prepare accurate and timely financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
- Manage and develop the finance team to achieve departmental objectives.
- Control costs and provide analysis.
- Support the internal and external audit processes.
- Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and drive efficiencies.
Profile
- A professional accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA.
- People management skills, with experience running a team of 5+.
- Experience within the manufacturing industry.
- Strong technical accounting knowledge and familiarity with relevant standards.
- Detailed knowledge of VAT, CAPEX & HMRC compliance.
- Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.
