If so, you could be the perfect fit for our Finance Manager role at Picturehouse. In this position, you will support our Financial Controller and the UK Finance team during an exciting period of change, with opportunities to develop your skills.

What will you be doing?

• Managing month-end accounting journals, including accruals, prepayments, stock, fixed assets, interest, and intercompany transactions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Preparing and reviewing key reconciliations for balance sheet items.
• Collaborating with the Finance Controller to review trial balances, manage month-end close procedures, and prepare financial results for group reporting.
• Assisting in the preparation of year-end consolidated financial statements, addressing technical areas like IFRS 16 and IAS 35, and liaising with auditors during audits.
• Proposing improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of financial processes and preparing financial information for internal and external use.

About you

• You hold a professional accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA) with experience in auditing and financial statement preparation.
• You have excellent communication skills, capable of handling diverse tasks from administrative to technical.
• You possess strong MS Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, and Power Query.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics is a plus but not essential.
