Our main offices are located across Inishowen in Buncrana, Carndonagh and Moville. The RoleWith the support of a Team, the successful candidate will have responsibility for the day-to-day financial control of the Credit Union, financial reporting and analysis; management of internal controls; compliance and regulatory returns; budgeting; asset, liability and investment management; and oversight of the credit control function.
Working closely with the CEO and the Board, you will help shape the Credit Union's strategic agenda and drive the business forward to achieve our ambitious growth targets. The successful candidate will embrace the Credit Union's values while delivering best-practice financial control and reporting.
Salary & BenefitsICU offers a competitive and comprehensive package commensurate with the seniority of this role including:
- Salary Scale: €60,000-€70,000

Qualifications & Experience
- A professional accounting qualification is essential (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CPA is preferred).
- Industry experience in a Finance Management role, ideally in financial services.
- Previous Credit Union or regulated financial services experience is a distinct advantage.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Strong Excel skills, with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to plan, forecast, budget, and oversee the implementation of financial strategies.
- Excellent report writing and presentation skills.
The primary office location is Buncrana. Some travel across our branch network in Inishowen will be required. We offer a flexible hybrid working arrangement to support a healthy work-life balance.
