Job Description
Finance Business Partner (German) vacancy for our client in the telecommunication industry
Responsibilities and Duties
- Perform controlling tasks including monthly closing, booking reviews, and deviation analysis.
- Manage rolling and in-year planning processes, including creating monthly plans and uploading data into SAP planning tools.
- Review and analyze SAP reports to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Partner with the Business Unit to explain financial results after monthly closings.
- Approve spends in SAP and review business cases for accuracy and alignment.
- Take ownership of planning tools, budgets, and quarterly forecast processes for Business Opex, CAPEX, and Topline lines.
- Oversee the monthly close process for the assigned Business Unit, conducting in-depth variance and trend analysis to assess and present underlying business performance.
- Act as a trusted business partner to the BU organization and collaborate with other Finance functions on all BU Finance-related matters.
Skills Required
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in Finance Business Partnering, Strategy, M&A, or similar finance functions.
- Fluency in both German and English (must-have).
- Knowledge of US GAAP/IFRS and SOX compliance is an advantage.
- Strong proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
- Hands-on experience with SAP and related tools (must-have).
- Previous experience in the telecommunications sector is a plus.
- Proactive mindset with end-to-end ownership of assigned tasks.
- Hands-on mentality with the ability to meet strict deadlines while maintaining accuracy.
- Strong team player with excellent communication skills, high commitment, and flexibility.

Work setting: Hybrid (2 days office, 3 days homeoffice within CH)
