In this role, you'll contribute directly to OS's mission by helping the organisation make informed financial choices that underpin our strategic ambitions.As a proactive and collaborative Finance Business Partner, you'll act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders. You will bring financial information to life through clear, data led insights, build strong relationships across the business, and influence key decisions that drive both operational and strategic performance. Your responsibilities will include: Building strong relationships with senior business leaders and their teams. Developing an understanding of their needs to support and challenge them in delivering on their financial and strategic goals Bringing numbers to life by being a clear and engaging communicator across all levels of the organisation. Using tailored, data-driven financial and non-financial insights to influence decision-making and provide forward-looking perspective Using quantitative / qualitative methods and judgement to manage all aspects of financial planning, ensuring robust forecasts underpinned by performance drivers and assumptions Supporting the development of comprehensive business cases using commercial acumen to critically challenge the costs, benefits, and delivery methods of initiatives Driving accountability for multi-year financial and operational plans whilst identifying emergent risks or opportunities and identifying areas for continuous improvement Delivering value by striving for cost optimisation through strategic and conceptual problem-solving, implementing performance trackers to demonstrate benefits and RoI What we're looking for you to bring: Appropriate accounting qualification (i.e. CIMA, ACA, ACCA), or equivalent experience Experience in finance business partnering and building trusted relationships with senior business executives Communication and presentation skills that add value with senior managers by presenting analysis and performance in a clear and understandable way Ability to influence stakeholders with confidence in challenging the status quo Strong analytical capability to translate complex information into simple explanations for financial / non-financial audiences which drive change and innovation Inquisitive mindset with a motivation for continuous improvement and working collaboratively within the team and the wider business Excellent written and MS Excel / PowerPoint skills, with PowerBI being desirable The Rewards We want you to love what you do. We have a fantastic HQ in Southampton, Hampshire where you will be required to split your time evenly, 50% in HQ and 50% working remotely.
