A trusted national brand in the trade distribution and logistics industry is seeking a Finance Business Partner to join their team. This is an exceptional opportunity for you to play a pivotal role in supporting operational and sales leaders, influencing key business decisions, and driving financial performance across the organisation.
Responsibilities- Partner with operational and sales leaders to challenge assumptions, support decision-making, and maximise opportunities while minimising risk.
- Carry out comprehensive operational analysis to uncover cost-saving opportunities and ensure optimal allocation of resources throughout the organisation.
- Lead monthly reviews of sales and margin performance, flagging key issues and working closely with the sales team to understand variances and drive improvements.
- Monitor branch P&L performance closely, spotting trends or discrepancies early and recommending corrective actions where needed.
- Prepare clear reports and presentations for senior stakeholders, ensuring complex financial information is accessible and actionable.
- Fully qualified accountant.
- Possess strong interpersonal skills that enable effective collaboration with colleagues across different departments.
- Display confidence in preparing clear reports and presenting findings to senior stakeholders who may not have a finance background.
