Location: London
Salary/Rate: £600-£700 per day
Start Date: 21/05/25
Job Type: 6 Month Contract - Inside IR35

We have an exciting opportunity now available with one of our sector-leading Financial Services clients! They are currently looking for a Finance Business partner in Technology transformation join their team for a six-month contract.

Job Responsibilities/Objectives

You will be responsible for the end to end financial management of a significant transformation programme within Infrastructure and Cloud Technology.

Ownership of detailed business case models, financial analysis and all financial outputs/summaries required for programme reporting and executive briefings.
Lead internal reviews of business case updates and present financials to all governance forums and programme stakeholders.
Financial management and governance of programme spend.
Regular review and tracking of programme financials (including benefits, cost impacts, programme spend and key metrics) through-out the programme life-cycle and presentation of updates to executive committees.
Development of programme financial packs, suitable for a range of audiences including board updates.
Provide support and challenge to the programme delivery team, ensuring financial accountability is upheld against programme deliverables.
Work closely with the product business owners and application teams to understand cost drivers and to ensure adherence to business case assumptions.
Support review of cloud spend, growth and opportunities for optimisation with application teams.
Proactively work with delivery teams to mitigate against programme financial risks and to identify opportunities.
Ensure accounting policies related to programme financials are agreed with technical accounting and understood by the programme team.
Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and modelling to support business / commercial decisions.

Required Skills/Experience
The ideal candidate will have the following:

Experience working in a large and complex IT/ Technology environments (specific experience of IT Infrastructure and Cloud preferred)
Excellent financial modelling, planning and analytical skills together with an inquisitive mindset.
Track record of working with senior stakeholders and partnering with IT/ Technology teams
Ability to articulate business case outputs, programme financials and analysis to a range of stakeholders in a way that is easy to understand.
Comfortable working with large data sets from multiple sources to build business case and financial models.
Knowledge of IT / Technology cost drivers including Infrastructure and Cloud spend.
Knowledge of accounting principles related specifically to infrastructure and technology contracts.
Proactive in seeking out information, problem solving and developing an understanding of the business under own steam.
Ability to build strong working relationships with colleagues globally.
