About the Role

Finance Business Partner - Sales Finance. Report to the FP&A Manager and partner with the Sales function. Deliver comprehensive financial and commercial analysis and insight to support Sales leadership in decision making. Responsible for budgeting, forecasting, board reporting and managing office level P&Ls.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver comprehensive financial and commercial analysis and insight to support Sales leadership.
  • Responsible for budgeting and forecasting of business areas.
  • Maintain board reporting and office level P&L management.
  • Partner with the Sales function to provide financial support and critical analysis around strategic plans.
  • Analyse large, complex data sets into actionable insights.
  • Make judgements and decisions in complex and ambiguous situations.
  • Communicate financial issues to both financial and non financial audiences.
  • Manage own workload as a self starter.
Qualifications
  • Strong core business skills, including influencing and stakeholder management.
  • Comfortable presenting to and challenging senior stakeholders.
  • Ability to understand the commercial positioning of a business and provide support and critical analysis around strategic plans.
  • Experience of business partnering commercial functions.
  • Strong understanding of finance and accounting backed by a professional qualification (e.g. CFA, ACA, CIMA).
Desired Experience
  • Experience dealing with software specific accounting policies (licencing revenue recognition, for example) and reporting metrics (ARR, GRR, NRR).
  • Experience of one or more: NetSuite, PowerBI, Salesforce.
Compensation & Benefits
  • A great benefits package.
  • Salary range £70k £75k, depending on experience.
  • 40 hours per week, with flexible working - at least 1 day per week in the office (Cambridge HQ).
