Where You Fit In
We're a small, ambitious team building something special - and we're looking for a Finance & Operations Assistant who's energised by variety, ownership, and growth.
You'll work closely with the founder, accountant, and site teams to keep the business running smoothly. No two days will be the same - from reconciling transactions to solving on-site problems to helping launch new experiences.
This role is ideal for someone who's:

- Confident with numbers and spreadsheets
- Entrepreneurial, hands-on, and excited by building from the ground up
- Passionate about nature, rest, and meaningful experiences
Key Responsibilities
1) Site Operations
- Liaise with site managers to ensure smooth turnovers and guest-ready cabins
- Order and manage supplies across all cabins
- Track and manage repair & maintenance issues
- Maintain weekly and monthly operational reports
- Support new product launches and revenue-driving site projects
- Occasionally assist with customer service queries
2) Finance & Bookkeeping (with support from our accountant)
- Handle day-to-day bookkeeping and bank reconciliations in Xero
- Track budgets vs actuals across multiple sites
- Prepare monthly landowner reports and expense summaries
- Support with monthly management accounts and financial reports
You'll Thrive If You Are
- Highly organised with a love for detail
- Positive, proactive and calm under pressure
- Confident with spreadsheets and comfortable with financial data
- Experienced with basic bookkeeping (ideally using Xero)
- Clear, thoughtful communicator who enjoys working with others
- Motivated by purpose and passionate about helping people rest and recharge in nature
What You'll Get
- Free stays at Rest + Wild cabins
- 25 days holiday + bank holidays
- Hybrid working: 2-3 days in our London office
- Generous trade discounts with our suppliers
- Friends & Family discount for cabin stays
- Annual team summer camp
- Quarterly team "switch-off" sessions
Salary
£25-£30k p/a depending on experience, plus performance based bonus.
We care more about attitude, skill and potential than ticking boxes - if you're close but not quite sure, please still apply.
