The Role

We are seeking a talented and adaptable Finance & Data Administrator to join our team. This exciting dual role is suitable for recent graduates as it sits at the intersection of our financial operations and business systems, playing a critical part in supporting our growth and operational excellence.


The position is split between data administration and analytics (2 days per week) and bought ledger and finance responsibilities (3 days per week), offering variety and the opportunity to develop a diverse professional skill set.


Key Responsibilities

Data Administration & Analytics:

  • Maintain the integrity, accuracy and completeness of the data contained within our primary business systems and troubleshoot issues that arise in connection with this goal
  • Develop and generate key business reports and analytics
  • Support staff with system issues and provide training
  • Manage relationships with external technology providers
  • Implement system improvements and updates
  • Create and maintain documentation for business systems


Bought Ledger & Finance:

  • Process supplier invoices and manage payment schedules
  • Maintain accurate supplier accounts and resolve discrepancies
  • Reconcile supplier statements with internal records
  • Process payments and maintain financial records
  • Manage VAT calculations and documentation
  • Support cost control initiatives and spending analysis
  • Assist with budgeting processes and financial reporting


The Ideal Candidate

You'll be a recent graduate with:

  • A 2:1 degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, or a related field
  • Advanced Excel skills (including pivot tables and data analysis)
  • Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to work
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities
  • A proactive and supportive attitude
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Interest in both finance and data
