About The Role

As a Finance Analyst Intern at Just Eat you will gain hands-on experience by diving into critical financial data and providing actionable insights. This role is focused on supporting our analytical initiatives, optimising key data flows, and contributing directly to business understanding within our Finance Analytics team.

Key Internship Focus: Agentic AI

This internship offers the opportunity to take ownership of a high-impact project. Your primary responsibility will be:

• Develop and deploy a high-impact Agentic AI solution to serve as the first line of defense against partner fraud by automating the investigation of inconsistent financial transactions, applying skills in data analysis and machine learning.

What will you bring to the team?

We are looking for a highly motivated student ready to apply their skills in a real-world setting:

• Education: Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Analytics, Finance, Data Science, or a related quantitative field.
• Analytical Skills: Strong foundation in analytical thinking and problem-solving.
• Technical Basics: Familiarity or proficiency with SQL and an understanding of relational databases.
• Communication: Ability to clearly present data and analytical findings.
• Proactive Attitude: A self-starter who is eager to learn and thrives in a fast-paced, international environment.
• Experience with Data Viz: Familiarity with data visualisation tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.

Practical Details

• Location: Our office in Amsterdam - a cool, collaborative space where you'll join us on Wednesdays & Thursdays. The rest of the days, you can work from home.
• Hours: Flexible, but a minimum of 24 hours per week. (Exact schedule can be discussed.)
• Start Date: January/February
