We're working with a fantastic Creative Academy in Waltham Forest that's looking for a talented Film and Media Tutor to join their team this September. This is a school where creativity isn't squeezed into the timetable, it's celebrated every day. Students are encouraged to think differently, take creative risks and develop the skills they'll use far beyond the classroom.
You'll be teaching Film and Media to engaged learners who are passionate about the industry, helping them develop practical production skills alongside critical thinking and creative storytelling.
What you'll be doing- Deliver engaging Film and Media lessons across Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5.
- Teach areas including film analysis, cinematography, editing, production and digital media.
- Support students with coursework and practical projects.
- Encourage creativity, collaboration and confidence in every lesson.
- Help students build portfolios and prepare for further education or careers within the creative industries.
- Experience teaching Film Studies, Media Studies or Creative Media.
- QTS, QTLS or relevant industry and teaching qualifications.
- Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Final Cut Pro or similar editing software.
- A genuine passion for film, media production and inspiring young creatives.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- Modern creative facilities and industry-standard equipment.
- A collaborative team that genuinely supports one another.
- Students who are enthusiastic, imaginative and eager to learn.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
