Overview

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Field Service Engineer to join a well established team supporting a wide range of garage equipment, with a strong focus on vehicle lifts and brake testers. Working from home, you'll be responsible for servicing, repairing, and calibrating equipment within an approximately one hour travel radius. This is a day based role with no stay aways or on call requirements, offering genuine work life balance. Travel time is fully paid, and voluntary overtime is available for those who want it.

Key Responsibilities

• Service, repair, and calibrate garage equipment, including vehicle lifts and brake testers
• Diagnose mechanical faults and perform corrective maintenance
• Deliver a high standard of customer service while working independently on site
• Complete job reports and documentation accurately

Requirements

• Mechanical engineering or technical background
• Hands on experience with maintenance, fault finding, and repairs
• Previous experience with garage equipment (especially lifts/brake testers) preferred
• Strong communication skills and good spoken/written English
• Full UK driving licence

Working Hours

Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (40 hours/week)
