Field Service Engineer
Located around the M62 Corridor, United Kingdom
Your Tasks
- Carry out customer visits assigned by the Service Administration team, including the scheduling and customer communication
- Performing a variety of calibrations on a range of manufacturers material test equipment to UKAS standards
- Providing installation, maintenance, training and calibration services to customers on their MTS systems
- Preparation of visit, calibration, installation and service reports with a keen eye for detail
- Supporting the Sales and Operations departments
- Ensuring compliance with the quality system, health and workplace safety regulations, legal regulations, CE requirements, as well as internal, technical guidelines to prevent health and financial risk
- Maintaining costs within budget
Your Qualifications
- Degree or similar in electrical or mechanical engineering
- Calibration experience in a similar environment
- Experience in customer support and field service
- Knowledge and understanding of hydraulic and electro-mechanical systems
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills
- Clean driving license
- Willingness to travel, be flexible and work independently as well as a team player
- A friendly, approachable, customer-centric attitude and approach
