Job Description

Field Service Generator Engineer£30,000 - 40,000 (£45,000 OTE) + Training + Progression + OvertimeCovering Watford, St Albans, Enfield, Barnet, Harlow, Stevenage

On offer is the chance to join a service engineering team as a field service engineer working a range of generator sets at customers sites.

Our client is a leading supplier of power generators ranging from rental, be spoke generators and static generators.Role & Responsibilities: Carry out planned service and maintenance of customer's generators. To conduct load bank testing on customers owned units To accurately fault find and diagnose both mechanical and electrical issues Carry our site surveys when required. Be able to work alone on engines Logging paperwork correctly and efficientlyKnowledge, Skills & Experience: Must have a strong customer focus Experience with mechanical/electrical engineering or diesel fitting Must be familiar with electronic systems and mechanical components (including engines and Alternators) Apply proper engine technical skills in inspection and disassembly. Utilization of the proper testing equipment for effective repair and maintenance.
