Field Service Engineer - South West Based

• Location: South West Region
• Working days: Monday - Friday
• Salary: up to £40,000 (DOE)
• Benefits: Company vehicle and fuel card provided, profit-related bonus
• Contract: Full Time & Permanent

Our client, a leading provider of technical solutions, is seeking a Field Service Engineer to join their team, primarily based in the South West of the UK. The role requires regular national travel, with potential overseas working opportunities once settled and experienced in the role.This is an exciting opportunity to work directly with customers, providing technical expertise, hands-on support, and problem-solving in a varied and rewarding role.Key Responsibilities:

• Service, maintain, and troubleshoot technical systems on-site
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and on-site staff
• Assist with system installation and commissioning (dependent on qualifications)
• Complete accurate service reports and documentation
• Contribute to service improvement initiatives and uphold high customer care standards
• Follow all health & safety policies and procedures

Candidate Requirements:

• Qualified electro-mechanical engineer with multi-disciplined experience
• Previous field service or technical support experience advantageous
• Strong customer service focus and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• IT competent, especially MS Office
• GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Maths
• Full UK driving license and willingness to travel nationally; overseas opportunities available once settled and experienced
