Field Sales Advisor

An exciting opportunity has opened up for an experienced Field Sales Advisor to join our client, a green energy company located in Mallow, Cork, on a permanent contract. This role will be on the road covering the Munster region and will be responsible for generating, developing, and converting a pipeline of residential Solar PV opportunities. You will engage directly with homeowners, guiding them on the range of grants available and providing practical, tailored advice. Attractive uncapped commission structure with strong earning potential is on offer for high performers.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the full sales cycle from initial enquiry through to signed contract, providing a thorough handover to the design and project management teams
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships through clear and effective communication
• Provide recommendations for installations based on customer requirements
• Prepare and present accurate quotation packs for clients, guiding them through the process
• Maintain accurate records in CRM, including forecasting and weekly sales pipeline
• Keep updated on product knowledge and industry trends to effectively support customers
• Attend various marketing shows, seminars, and events as required
• Collaborate with the wider sales team to develop effective sales strategies

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a sales role, preferably in energy, construction or home improvement
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Self motivated and target driven with a positive attitude
• Full clean driving licence
• Solar PV and battery storage knowledge would be an advantage, but full training will be provided on this
• Familiarity with CRM tools to manage leads and sales activities
