Rate: 425 EUR/DAY
Language Requirement: Fluent English (Basic Dutch is a plus)

Our client is a leading engineering and technology services provider specializing in the deployment of infrastructure, automation, and security systems across Europe. With deep expertise in high-compliance environments such as ports, refineries, and energy facilities, they deliver full turnkey solutions from system design to on-site commissioning.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Field Commissioning Engineer/Installation Supervisor for an onshore project in Antwerp, Belgium, overseeing the installation and commissioning of advanced Telecom and Security systems. The role involves working with a range of technologies from top-tier vendors and ensuring proper deployment and system functionality in industrial environments. You will be responsible for ensuring all systems are installed, tested, and commissioned in line with technical, safety, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and execute the installation, testing, and commissioning of telecom and security systems
• Work hands-on with technologies from:
• • Cisco (network/telephony)
  • Genetec/HID (access control)
  • Ziztel (PAGA systems)
  • AESYS (signage)
  • JOTRON (VHF radio)
  • Trelleborg (marine communication systems)
• Ensure full compliance with safety regulations (VOL-VCA) and site-specific procedures
• Collaborate with project managers, technical teams, and vendors
• Maintain accurate field reports, commissioning records, and punch lists
• Troubleshoot system issues and ensure timely resolution
• Support documentation and handover processes to the client

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience supervising or commissioning telecom and/or security systems
• Practical, hands-on knowledge of the systems listed above
• Valid VOL-VCA (SCC-17) certification
• Must have and bring your own:
• • Laptop with relevant software
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
  • Toolset
• Fluent English (spoken and written)
• Valid medical fitness certificate and passport
• Legal eligibility to work in Belgium (A1, Limosa, or visa)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working on industrial projects in Belgium or similar EU sites
• Familiarity with industrial commissioning documentation standards
• Basic Dutch for safety communication is an advantage
• Ability to adapt quickly to site-specific systems and procedures
