Female PE Teacher

Overview

Female PE Teacher. Role: Full-time PE Teacher based in Camden, NW London. Joining an Ofsted rated 'Good' school with an excellent PE department made up of a mix of experienced and newly qualified teachers. This position is offered on either a full-time contract or long-term supply. There are ECT opportunities for those starting their careers with the possibility of ECT induction from the start of the placement.

About the school

This school has worked with Tradewind Recruitment for the past seven years and has supplied staff to almost every department. It is an OFSTED graded 'Good' school with strong behaviour, leadership, teaching and learning. The school is located in the borough of Camden with great accessibility from other areas of London. Onsite parking is available for all staff and it is a short distance from a number of underground stations by bus. Applications are welcome from candidates in surrounding boroughs even if Camden is not initially considered.

Role and responsibilities

• Teach PE at Key Stage 3 and 4 in a fantastic department led by a strong Head of Department.
• Contribute to a positive learning environment and maintain high standards in teaching and learning.

Qualifications and requirements

• Have QTS or equivalent.
• Have UK right-to-work.
• Show a commitment to high standards and enthusiasm for teaching and learning styles.
• Be able to demonstrate enthusiasm to match subject knowledge.
• Proven success teaching PE at Key Stage 3 and 4, or strong feedback from placements for those completing their qualification this July.
• Applicants are welcome from Newly Qualified Teachers with the possibility of an immediate induction term for suitable applicants.
• Be a committed practitioner who may want to take on some leadership responsibility in the future.
