About the Role

Paragon Home Healthcare is seeking carers for 12 hour shifts to join our dedicated team supporting a female client with cerebral palsy, epilepsy, scoliosis, and learning disability in her specially adapted home in Bexhill on Sea (TN39). The home is equipped with hoists and an accessible bath.

The client requires two carers during the day for daily outings in an accessible vehicle and needs a night carer to assist the wake night carer as required. This is an opportunity to join a compassionate team working closely with the client and her family to keep her routine engaging and fulfilling.

The client's rota is typically 3-5 shifts per week. If eligible you may also be part of a Standby rota and work conveniently from home, while still receiving comprehensive training.

Job Details

Job Type: Day and waking night shifts
Shift Pattern: Day 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM, Night 8:00 PM - 8:00 AM
Pay Rates:

  • Weekday (Day): £15.75 per hour
  • Weekends (Day or Night): £18.90 per hour
  • Waking Nights (any day): £18.90 per hour
  • Bank holidays paid at 150% and Christmas at 200% (double pay)

Location: Bexhill on Sea - TN39

Driver: Essential - Carer must be a confident driver with a clean driver's licence and be happy to help with regular community outings.

Female carer required due to the need to provide personal care (Equality Act 2010, Schedule 9, Part 1). We welcome applications from female carers who are kind, dependable, and confident supporting someone in their own home. You do not need spinal injury experience - just willingness to learn and a common sense approach.

Training & Support

Paragon is a specialist provider of spinal cord injury and complex care. You will receive full training before you start, and where possible time will be given to become familiar with the care routine. No previous experience with spinal care is needed.
