Job Title: GCSE English Language Lecturer

Location: Slough

Start Date: ASAP

Salary: £30-35 per hour

Responsibilities

As a key member of the team, you'll be responsible for delivering GCSE English Language to a diverse group of students, ensuring they gain the skills and confidence to succeed in their exams. You will:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons that cover the full curriculum.
  • Assess and support student progress, providing timely feedback.
  • Implement effective classroom management strategies.
Qualifications
  • A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, or equivalent).
  • Experience delivering GCSE English Language, ideally in an FE or similar setting.
  • Strong subject knowledge in English Language and exam techniques.
  • Excellent classroom management skills.
  • The ability to engage and inspire students of all abilities.
  • A flexible, proactive, and student focused teaching approach.
