An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Family Solicitor with 18 months+ PQE to join the highly regarded Family team in Stockport and/or Macclesfield.

Working primarily from the firm's Stockport office, with travel to Macclesfield as required, you'll work closely alongside experienced Partners on a broad range of privately funded family matters. This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor looking to build on their existing experience and continue developing their career within a supportive and progressive environment.

The Role

You'll gain exposure to a varied caseload including:

• Divorce and separation
• Financial remedy proceedings
• Private children matters
• Injunctions and emergency applications
• General family law disputes

This role offers the opportunity to work closely with senior lawyers while developing your own caseload and technical expertise.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing a varied caseload of family law matters.
• Providing practical, supportive, and compassionate advice to clients.
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships through exceptional client care.
• Supporting senior colleagues on complex matters where required.
• Generating fee income and maintaining effective control of time recording, billing, and work in progress.
• Participating in networking and business development activities.
• Contributing to the continued growth and success of the Family department.

About You

• Qualified Solicitor with 18 months+ PQE in Family Law.
• Experience handling privately funded family matters.
• Exposure to financial remedy, children, and injunction matters.
• Strong client care and communication skills.
• Highly organised with excellent time management abilities.
• A proactive and approachable team player.
• Ambitious and keen to continue developing their career within Family Law.
