JOB TITLE: Family Solicitor
PQE REQUIRED: 8
LOCATION: South Yorkshire
SALARY: Up to £70,000 (DOE)
THE ROLE:
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Family Solicitor to join a specialist family law practice. Working as part of an established and highly regarded team, you will manage a varied caseload of private family matters including divorce, separation, financial remedy proceedings and private children disputes. The role will also involve advising on cohabitation disputes, pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements, separation agreements and protective injunctions. Experience of TOLATA matters would be advantageous.
In addition to managing your own caseload, you will support the wider family team, assist in the supervision and development of junior colleagues and play an active role in networking and business development activities. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious family lawyer looking to make a meaningful contribution to the continued growth of a specialist practice.
THE CANDIDATE:
Applications are sought from Family Solicitors with ideally 8 years' PQE or more, although candidates with relevant experience below this level will also be considered. You will possess strong technical expertise across both children and financial remedy matters and be capable of managing a busy caseload with minimal supervision.
The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent client care, drafting and communication skills together with strong commercial awareness and a proven billing record. Experience supervising junior team members would be advantageous, as would experience handling TOLATA matters. You will be a motivated and ambitious individual who enjoys building client relationships, developing business opportunities and contributing to the long-term success of the firm.
THE FIRM:
This opportunity is with a respected specialist family law firm that has established an excellent reputation for providing practical, client-focused advice across a range of private family law matters. The firm is committed to delivering exceptional levels of client service whilst maintaining a supportive and collaborative working environment for its employees. With an established presence and ambitious plans for continued growth, the firm offers an excellent platform for experienced Family Lawyers seeking quality work, genuine responsibility and long-term career development opportunities. Comprehensive administrative, compliance and operational support allows Fee Earners to focus on delivering outstanding legal services and developing their practice.
Competitive remuneration dependent on experience, workplace pension, death in service cover, birthday leave, health cash plan, 24/7 remote GP access and genuine long-term career progression opportunities are on offer.
