Job Description

Our clients are a growing, Gloucestershire-based legal practice, with offices in Stroud and Gloucester. The business has been providing legal services to the people of Gloucestershire for over 260 years. They specialise in a wide range of personal and commercial law. They are seeking a Family Solicitor.

Position Overview:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed legal practitioner to join and contribute to the success and growth of the family department. The caseload includes:

  • Divorce and separation
  • Financial remedies
  • Private children matters
  • Cohabitation disputes
Family Solicitor experience to include:
  • Qualified Senior Solicitor/Associate with at least 4-5 years relevant experience advising on family law matters
  • Solid knowledge and experience in divorce, finances, and private law children work
  • Ability to meet clients, attend court hearings, and advocate
  • Resolution membership or similar accreditation is desirable
  • Compassionate and professional approach to sensitive client issues
  • Ability and willingness to learn and manage workload efficiently and meet clients' requirements
  • Understanding of the industry and challenges faced
  • Excellent communication skills
