The Department for Academic Services provides a comprehensive administrative service to applicants, students, colleagues and external stakeholders. The Faculty Administrative Support Services section supports students and academic colleagues through a network of administrative offices.
The post holder will have responsibility for the administration of specific courses and modules, supporting systems administration and working practices undertaken throughout the student journey from registration to graduation. The purpose of the role is to deliver effective and efficient administration, focusing on accuracy of data and the provision of a professional and friendly support service.
The role requires presence in Portsmouth at least a few days each week, with hybrid working available. Initially, the candidate will work full time in the office for the first few weeks, then shift to two days in office and three days working from home once established in the role.
Interviews are anticipated during the week commencing 27 July 2026.
Terms- Two fixed term appointments available, each 37 hours per week

The new appointments will typically be made to the entry pay point for the advertised grade. Salary progression will occur through annual adjustments and cost of living increases, with the possibility of a higher starting salary if circumstances justify it.
