MPA Recruitment Armagh are working in partnership to assist our client theNorthern Ireland Housing Executiveto recruit a Facilities Services Manager for the Craigavon Area.
The post holder will be required to manage and maintain services provided by the Facilities Department in relation to their office (and depot) portfolio. This includes the management of facilities services staff and ensuring that all functions of the department are delivered effectively and efficiently with minimal disruption to the service provided.
Key ResponsibilitiesThe Facilities Services Manager will report to the Corporate Facilities Manager and will be responsible for the efficient running of the facilities department within the South region across the NIHE office estate. This will be achieved through management and co-ordination with other Directorates to enable NIIHE to meet strategic objectives.
The post holder will lead the effective planning and delivery of all necessary services to the organisation whilst contributing to the development of new strategies to ensure the department is continually improving.
Tho post holder will be responsible for the monitoring of expenditure within the region ad will also assist in the preparation of the department's annual budget. The post holder will be responsible for ensuring value for money by evaluating work practices and continually monitoring existing service delivery.
Requirements and Qualifications- 5 Years+ previous management experience
- Possess a current driving licence or have access to a form of transport that enables them to meet the requirements of the post in full.
- 1. Either a) Possess a degree or equivalent level qualification (Level 6 ) in a facilities management discipline (or equivalent related subject) and can demonstrate at least two years' relevant experience managing facilities and accommodation. or b) Exceptionally, can demonstrate 4 years' relevant experience in managing facilities and accommodation. Refer to Qualifications Framework for equivalencies It will be the responsibility of the applicant to demonstrate equivalency
- 2. Can demonstrate significant relevant experience in each of the following areas:
- (i) Facilities management in a medium- to large- scale organisation over multiple locations.
- (ii) Supervision of staff across a range of services.
- (iii)Specification and management of facilities contracts.
- (iv) Financial control of budgets and management of costs.
