Role Details

Salary: £28,752 per annum - access to a company van.

Location: Office and site-based role with regular travel across the Group's corporate offices, hubs and other corporate or commercial buildings.

Hours: 36 hours per week.

Contract Type: Permanent.

Day in the life of a Facilities Officer

In this role, you'll support the smooth day to day operation of our corporate and commercial buildings, helping to ensure our facilities services are delivered efficiently, safely and to a consistent standard.

Reporting to the Facilities Manager - Corporate Buildings, you'll:

  • Respond to building-related issues and queries
  • Support compliance and health & safety requirements
  • Carry out low-level repairs and basic maintenance tasks (within your level of competence)

  • Experience in facilities management, building operations, caretaking or a similar role (essential)
  • Ability to carry out minor repairs and practical tasks safely within defined limits (essential)
  • A good understanding of workplace health & safety requirements (essential)
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities (essential)
  • Confident communication skills, with the ability to work with colleagues and contractors (essential)
  • Experience maintaining records and using digital systems (essential)
  • Willingness to undertake training and continuous professional development (essential)
  • A full UK driving licence (essential)
