Job IntroductionFACILITIES MANAGER
As a Facilities Manager, you'll play a vital role in supporting the UK Defence Training Estate by ensuring facilities across your region remain safe, compliant and fit for purpose. This is a hands on, varied role balancing leadership, planning and on site delivery. You'll work closely with military customers, internal teams and contractors to provide confidence that facilities meet both contractual and operational needs.

Landmarc supports the UK Armed Forces by keeping the Defence Training Estate running safely and effectively. We manage training areas and ranges, maintain essential infrastructure and deliver major improvement projects that enhance military training across the UK.
What You'll Do- Lead and support facilities teams and supervisors, allocating work and monitoring performance
- Ensure facilities are available and compliant through inspections, planning and oversight of PPM and reactive tasks
- Manage accommodation, waste, stores, grounds maintenance and cleaning services
- Liaise with customers, Employer representatives and technical specialists
- Manage contractors and oversee handover and take back of facilities
- Complete risk assessments, method statements and required documentation
- Identify opportunities for improvement, efficiency and added value
- Strong Health & Safety knowledge (COSHH, risk assessments, safe systems of work)
- IOSH Managing Safely is essential (NEBOSH desirable)
- NVQ Level 4 in Facilities Management or equivalent
- Experience managing facilities, services or estates in an operational environment
- Strong communication, organisation and workforce planning skills
- Ability to manage budgets, contractors and multiple priorities
- Full UK driving licence
