Facilities Manager - Commercial

• Managing service charge budgets, expenditure, reconciliations

Location: Worthing - No Hybrid Salary: £45,000-£55,000 DOE Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am-5:30pm (1-hour lunch)

Hunters client an established property business is looking for an experienced Facilities Manager to take ownership of the day-to-day operational management of a varied commercial property portfolio.

• Managing service charge budgets, expenditure, reconciliations and arrears/debt recovery.
• Ensuring all properties meet relevant statutory, compliance and health & safety requirements.
• Conducting routine property inspections and following up on maintenance requirements.
• Managing contractor selection, procurement, performance and service delivery.
• Reviewing lease terms and identifying landlord and tenant responsibilities relating to repairs and maintenance.

Facilities Manager - Commercial Property - About You

The successful candidate will ideally have previous experience within commercial facilities or property management, together with:

• Proven experience managing service charge budgets and financial information.
• A solid understanding of commercial building maintenance and facilities operations.
• Good knowledge of landlord and tenant obligations, with the ability to interpret lease clauses.
• An understanding of statutory compliance, health & safety and relevant property legislation.
• Experience managing contractors and external suppliers

Commercial Property - The Package

• £45,000-£55,000 salary, depending on experience.
• Monday to Friday, 8:30am-5:30pm.
