Position: Facilities Assistant Level 3. Work 35 hours per week in shift pattern: Early 6:00-1:30 pm, Late 11:30-7:00 pm. Contract: Full time, Permanent. Closing date 25 June :59 pm. Interview: Face to Face.
Work Responsibilities- Direct Facilities Assistants (Level 1 & 2) to ensure cleaning tasks are carried out in accordance with procedures and standards. Monitor by conducting site visits, completing audit forms, and liaising with building users.
- Maintain internal and external appearance and cleanliness of buildings and surrounding areas, carrying out inspections, liaising with customers and reporting identified issues.
- Manual handling of loads using appropriate equipment, including driving vehicles that require a normal driving licence.
- Undertake minor repairs, including working at height and using hand tools.
- Work collaboratively and independently to ensure safe working environments and practices, conforming to all health and safety regulations.
- Carry out building based safety inspections and legal compliance checks such as weekly fire alarm tests.
- Deliver a customer focused service by following procedures and meeting required quality standards.
Shift pattern availability: Must be able to work within core hours of 06:00 and 18:00.
Requirements and SkillsMust be flexible, organised, with the ability to plan and prioritise workload when dealing with reactive issues. ICT skills desirable but not essential; full training will be provided.
References: 2 references required, with 3 years' employment history. DBS clearance required. Proof of Right to Work and Proof of Manchester Residency may be required.
