- Salary: £13,638.30 plus company benefits.
- Location: Nottingham, NG1 6HH.
- Contract: 6 month fixed term, part time (20 hours per week).
- Working days: Monday to Wednesday.
- Shift patterns:
- Mon/Tue - 08 30 (1 hour unpaid lunch) and 09 30 (1 hour unpaid lunch).
- Wed - 08 30 (30 minute unpaid lunch).
- Work model: Fully onsite.
The Facilities Associate position handles day to day facilities issues, liaises with clients, vendors, security and building management, and maintains the overall integrity and operational functionality of the office, including aesthetics.
Key Responsibilities- Perform regular inspections of client space (doors, furniture, fixtures) and escalated to vendors.
- Respond to employee facility requests - temperature, parking, etc.
- Coordinate with Building Management on janitorial, security, parking.
- Support emergency evacuation plans and fire drills.
- Interact with vendors for vending machines, coffee service, life safety equipment, day porter and other facility related services.
- Obtain working knowledge of thermostats, HVAC controls, fire controls and security alarm systems.
- Coordinate minor moves.
- Coordinate furniture orders and minor changes.
- Manage building access, badges and internal keys.
- Coordinate onboarding and off boarding of client staff.
- Assist Account Manager/Facilities Manager with overall maintenance and ad hoc/special administrative projects.
- Work with manager to update Site Procedures Manual.
- Set tone by maintaining a positive personality, sense of urgency, independent thinking, self starting and a high spirited "can do" disposition.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in facilities, property management or building operations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven customer service skillset.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) and calendar.
- Experience in high profile, high paced environment.
- Problem solving, rationalising and mitigating obstacles.
