Job Description
Overview

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Fabric Data Architect to join our client's rapidly expanding Data & AI practice. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise in Microsoft Fabric and Azure data architecture, coupled with strong leadership, client engagement, and solution delivery experience. You will play a key role in designing scalable data foundations, modernising data landscapes, and driving innovation across enterprise clients in diverse industries.

Responsibilities
  • Design and implement end-to-end data solutions leveraging Microsoft Fabric and Azure technologies, including data lakes, warehouses, and ETL/ELT pipelines.
  • Lead data modeling, integration, and governance initiatives, ensuring compliance with security, legal, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Optimize data workloads for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency, identifying and resolving bottlenecks proactively.
  • Conduct data landscape assessments and define modernization or migration strategies for enterprise environments.
  • Engage directly with business and technical stakeholders to define requirements, run workshops, and propose optimal architecture solutions.
  • Support pre-sales and delivery teams, contributing to proposals, client presentations, and Data & AI deal pursuits.
  • Mentor and guide Data & AI teams, driving standards, reusable frameworks, and continuous learning.
Requirements
  • 18-20 years of experience in Data & AI consulting or enterprise data architecture roles.
  • Proven track record in Microsoft Fabric data foundation design and delivery.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Solid understanding of data governance, security, and compliance best practices.
  • Familiarity with Agile delivery models and collaboration with Microsoft ecosystem partners.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Willingness to travel up to 20% within the UK and Europe.
