This position is based on a full-time contract. Gross Salary: £31,373 per year.

Main Tasks and responsibilities- Helping guests whilst creating positive experiences
- Training team members to Moxy standards in both food and beverage and reception
- Take the lead on food and beverage initiatives, ensuring that menus, tills and pricing are up to date
- Ensuring profitability from a food and beverage perspective
- Organise and prepare for monthly stock takes
- Follow all food safety, licensing and health and safety policies to work safely
- Supervise accurate and efficient reception operations including check in/out procedures
- Monitor the appearance, standards, and performance of the reception with an emphasis on training and teamwork
- Ensure team members have updated knowledge of all room categories, room rates, packages, promotions, local area and other general Marriott product knowledge necessary to perform their duties
- Follow Moxy Marriott brand standards
- Enrol new members for Marriott Bonvoy (loyalty program) with the team
- Ensure Marriott metrics are met and exceeded
- Although emphasis is on food and beverage, you will be duty manager and be expected to take the lead on shifts including reception
- Have high energy and a fearless do-it-yourself attitude
- Good with people and enjoy chatting with guests
- Skilled multi tasker who can balance hard work with great service
- Clear communicator fluent in English (other languages a plus!)
- Experience within the service industry
- Knowledge of hotel systems such as Opera and/or Micros
- Knowledge of Food Safety & Licensing laws
- Personal experience of travel and the travel industry
