EYFS Teaching Assistant

The EYFS Teaching Assistant position in Crook involves supporting early years pupils within a primary school setting.

Working on a contract basis through Spennymoor Supply Teaching Partnership, the role offers £94.95 per day and requires recent practical experience with children in Early Years or KS1, gained in a school, nursery, or care environment.

A relevant childcare qualification at Level 2 or above is desirable, though substantial experience may be considered in its place.

The role entails assisting with daily learning activities, providing one-to-one support, and helping to maintain a nurturing classroom atmosphere.

The Durham office also offers additional day-to-day and long-term supply assignments.

Successful applicants will undergo an enhanced DBS check as part of safer recruitment procedures.

The Education Network are working with a school in Crook who are looking to employ a Teaching Assistant with a background in working with children in EYFS.

The successful candidate must have recent experience of supporting children in Early Years/KS1. This can be in a School, Nursery or care environment. Ideally you should have a relevant qualification (Level 2 or above) in the child care sector but this may not be a necessity depending on your experience.

Our Durham office works specifically with schools across Durham and as well as this position the Education network have a number of day to day and long term supply assignments.
