EYFS Teacher - Radcliffe
Start Date: January 2027
Contract: Full Time, Fixed Term (January 2027 to July 2027)
Salary: Paid in line with the Main Teacher Pay Scale, dependent on experience
Working Hours: 8:15am to 3:45pm, Monday to Friday, plus weekly staff training each Wednesday after school
Aspire People is working in partnership with a welcoming and community-focused primary school in Radcliffe to recruit an experienced EYFS Teacher for a full-time temporary position from January 2027 until July 2027.
This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Early Years practitioner to join a supportive team and play a key role in delivering high-quality provision across the Early Years Foundation Stage. The role will involve teaching within the 2-3-year-old provision as well as leading learning within the Reception class during afternoon sessions.
The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a nurturing, engaging and stimulating learning environment that supports children's social, emotional and academic development during these crucial early years.
You will plan and deliver high-quality learning experiences that encourage curiosity, independence and confidence, while ensuring all pupils make strong progress from their individual starting points.
This role requires someone who is confident working across different stages of the EYFS and can build strong relationships with children, families and colleagues.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging EYFS learning opportunities
- Teach within the 2-3-year-old provision and Reception class
- Support children's communication, language and personal development
- Assess, monitor and record pupil progress accurately
- Create a safe, stimulating and inclusive learning environment
- Work closely with support staff and the wider EYFS team
- Build positive relationships with parents and carers
- Contribute to the wider life of the school, including staff training and development
The ideal candidate will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Have proven experience teaching within the Early Years Foundation Stage
- Be confident working with both nursery-aged and Reception-aged children
- Have a strong understanding of the EYFS Framework
- Demonstrate excellent organisation and classroom management skills
- Be passionate about early childhood development and learning
- Be able to work effectively as part of a team
Essential Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Paediatric First Aid certification
- Experience teaching within EYFS
- Full-time availability from January 2027 to July 2027
- Eligibility to work in the UK
- Willingness to complete safeguarding and recruitment checks
