Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled professional for a 12-month Fixed-Term Contract to join our senior team, shaping the future of catastrophe risk management in the global (re)insurance industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and analyze syndicate-level natural and non-natural catastrophe risks.
• Lead assessments of syndicates' catastrophe risk appetites.
• Conduct operational and technical evaluations to improve exposure management practices.
• Support the objectives of the Exposure Management team.

Required Skills and Experience

• Experience with Lloyd's market operations.
• Understanding of catastrophe risk assessment principles, including probability, risk modeling, and catastrophe modeling.
• Experience with catastrophe modeling, preferably from an underwriting background.
• Knowledge of exposure management challenges, issues, and trends.
• Familiarity with the insurance market, including Lloyd's, London Market, and international markets.
• Ability to communicate complex technical information effectively to diverse stakeholders.
• Confidence in engaging with senior stakeholders and demonstrating technical credibility.
• Proficiency in documenting assessment processes thoroughly and impartially.
• Strong influencing and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to distill and structure information clearly and concisely.
