We are looking for candidates for the position of Expert Engineer in Power Plant Technology. The Expert Engineer in Power plays a pivotal role in developing and implementing Power Generation Projects for our clients.


Key responsibilities


  • Development and supervision of hydraulic calculations, heat and material balance, utilities summaries and calculations.
  • Prepare the respective reports and documentation.
  • Support other disciplines.
  • Prepare P&IDs / line list.


Qualifications and desired attributes


  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Experience: 10-15 years of experience in FEED and EPC.
  • General Skills: Strong knowledge of engineering calculations in Combined cycle/ Coal fired/ Gas Fired boiler Projects.
  • Technical Proficiency: High expertise in hydraulic calculation, process simulation, equipment design, instrumentation and valves specification and client comment management.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Hydraulic calculations
  • KKS for line designation
  • Control valves calculations
  • Control Narrative & C&E matrix process development
  • Equipment design
  • Instrumentation specification.
  • Heat and Material balance development (with ThermoFlow desirable)
  • Surge analysis (water hammer) using AFT Impulse or equivalent
  • Utilities Summary
  • Functional Descriptions
