Job Description
Experienced Volunteer Counsellors 
The Jewish Bereavement Counselling Service (JBCS) seeks experienced volunteer counsellors and social workers to provide bereavement counselling to individuals and families following a loss.
Responsibilities- Deliver one to one bereavement counselling sessions, ranging from 2 to 5 hours.
- Work with individuals and families in a confidential, supportive environment.
- Maintain accurate session notes and follow organisational protocols.
- Prior experience in counselling, social work, or a related field.
- Strong empathy, active listening, and communication skills.
- Willingness to commit to flexible sessions, including evenings and weekends.
JBCS provides comprehensive training and ongoing professional supervision for all volunteer counsellors.
