About Dartmouth Partners

Dartmouth Partners is a private equity-backed, multi-award-winning recruitment company with a unique Classroom to Boardroom business model. With a primary focus on the financial and professional services industry, we partner with ambitious businesses, from fast-growing start-ups to PE-backed organisations and FTSE 250 companies, helping them identify exceptional talent from school leavers through to the C-suite.

Long-term thinking is hard-wired into our DNA. We support candidates through their entire career journey and work closely with clients to build high-performing, future-facing teams. Our key differentiators are excellence and kindness, values we embed into everything we do.

Due to a continued period of growth, we are hiring Recruitment Consultants across several of our specialist markets.

As a Recruitment Consultant at Dartmouth Partners, you will play a key role in the continued growth and success of your team. Working within a specialist market, you will build trusted, long-term relationships with candidates and clients, becoming an expert in your space.

As a 360 Consultant, your role will focus on both delivery excellence and consultative business development. You'll spend time understanding candidate motivations, advising clients on market dynamics, and delivering high-quality recruitment outcomes. Over time, you'll have the opportunity to grow your own client base and develop a strong personal brand within your market.

You'll be supported from day one by our in-house Performance & Development team, have early access to our industry-leading professional development opportunities, and will receive ongoing coaching and tailored development as you progress through your career.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Building and maintaining long-term relationships with candidates and clients

  • Managing the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle

  • Developing a deep understanding of your specialist market and associated hiring trends

  • Delivering research projects, market mapping and talent insights

  • Contributing to value-added initiatives such as surveys, reports and focussed events

  • Identifying and converting new business opportunities through a consultative approach

At Dartmouth, you are key to our success. We invest heavily in your development to help you maximise your potential and progress from Consultant through to Managing Director and beyond.

What you'll bring
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment

  • Previous experience in recruitment or a related professional services or sales discipline

  • A confident, proactive and solutions driven attitude

  • Strong commercial awareness and business-minded thinking

  • A people-centric approach with a genuine interest in building long-term relationships

  • Intellectual curiosity and a desire to become an expert in your market

  • A values-driven approach, aligned with Dartmouth's focus on excellence

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Professionalism and integrity in all interactions

What you'll get
  • A high-performance, mature environment where we take our work seriously but not ourselves

  • Bespoke training and personalised development via our in-house Performance & Development team

  • A clear progression pathway from Associate through to Managing Director

  • Competitive salary and commission structure

  • Regular incentives including lunch clubs and international trips

  • Private healthcare, wellness and mental health support

  • A genuinely social culture with regular team nights out and events
