Job Description

We are looking for a kind, reliable, and experienced Personal Assistant (PA) to support a friendly young girl with a disability to enjoy outings and activities in the community.

Contract Type

Part Time

Permanent

Roles and Responsibilities

• Support with social activities and outings (e.g. parks, shops, local events)
• Promote independence, confidence, and safety
• Provide encouragement and companionship during activities
• Some personal care may be involved depending on the girl's needs

Required Training

• Experience working with children/young people with disabilities or additional needs
• Patience, empathy, and a person-centred approach
• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
• Full driving licence and access to a car

About Me

Client is a chatty 15 year old girl who loves hair and makeup, goes bowling and cinema. She is not keen on dogs, loves to go out for a Costa coffee, and has a neurological condition called Microdeletion Syndrome.
