About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Executive Support Manager to lead a team of Executive Assistants providing high-quality support to senior leaders across the organisation. This is an excellent opportunity for a proven people manager with strong stakeholder management skills and experience supporting senior executives in a fast-paced environment.
Working closely with the Head of Executive Support and a fellow Executive Support Manager, you will help drive operational excellence, champion continuous improvement, and ensure the delivery of a consistent and professional executive support service.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, manage, motivate and develop a team of Executive Assistants, ensuring high standards of performance and service delivery.
- Allocate resources effectively across the team, ensuring appropriate cover during periods of absence, increased workload and resourcing gaps.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders, balancing competing priorities and managing expectations effectively.
- Work as part of the Executive Support leadership team to develop and implement new systems, processes and service improvements.
- Lead and contribute to transformation and efficiency projects, helping to streamline ways of working across the executive support function.
- Monitor team performance and ensure effective deployment of resources to meet business objectives.
- Manage governance and transparency processes, including registers, declarations and related documentation.
- Oversee documentation clearance processes and support key organisational governance requirements.
- Deputise for the Head of Executive Support when required.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
- Significant experience managing or leading executive support or administrative teams.
- A strong track record of delivering executive support services to senior leaders.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and tight deadlines.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills.
- The ability to develop effective working relationships across a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience identifying and implementing process improvements and operational efficiencies.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills and confidence using a range of technology and communication tools.
- A proactive, collaborative and solutions-focused approach.
