The Role As a Community Justice Worker, you'll manage a caseload of participants within the community, providing personalised support from initial assessment through to the completion of their sentence. Working closely with each individual, you'll identify barriers, develop tailored action plans, and provide practical guidance to help them achieve their goals. Through one-to-one support, mentoring, and group-based interventions, you'll encourage positive behavioural change, improve wellbeing, and help participants build the confidence and skills needed to move forward. You'll also work alongside partner organisations and local services to ensure participants have access to the support they need to achieve successful and sustainable outcomes. Key Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of participants within the community.
- Complete assessments and develop personalised support plans.
- Deliver effective one-to-one support, mentoring and group-based interventions.
- Support participants to access housing, wellbeing services, mental health support, substance misuse services, education, training and other community resources.
- Build positive, professional relationships that encourage engagement and personal development.
- Work collaboratively with peer mentors, volunteers and partner agencies to achieve positive outcomes.
- Maintain accurate records using case management systems.
- Manage risk appropriately and follow safeguarding procedures.
- Work towards individual and team performance targets.
- Contribute to continuous improvement by sharing knowledge and best practice with colleagues.

- A professional approach to safeguarding and risk management.
- Level 3 Information, Advice and Guidance (IAG) qualification.
- Previous experience supporting vulnerable individuals.
- Experience within rehabilitation, community support, criminal justice, probation, housing, social care or related support services.
