Salary: £130 - £150 per day (depending on experience)

GSL Education is seeking a Ex-Military Outdoor Pursuits Mentor for a vibrant and inclusive secondary school with a strong focus on equality and equity. Responsibilities- Plan and lead outdoor learning sessions, adventure activities, and team-building exercises
- Mentor and support young people in developing confidence, resilience, and personal skills
- Build positive relationships and act as a role model for pupils
- Promote inclusion, wellbeing, and safe participation in all activities
- Work closely with teaching and pastoral staff to support behaviour and engagement
- Maintain health, safety, and safeguarding standards at all times
- Ex-military experience (Army, Navy, RAF or equivalent)
- Experience leading groups or mentoring young people
- Passion for outdoor education and adventure activities
- Strong communication, leadership, and behaviour management skills
- Ability to motivate and inspire young people
- Flexible, reliable, and proactive approach
- An enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one with GSL Education
- Long-term and flexible opportunities
