Events Manager
Posted 1 day 17 hours ago by Roundhouse Trust Ltd.
About the Roundhouse:
Roundhouse is an iconic music and arts venue in Camden. Since the 1960s we've opened up space for creativity to empower people and communities - day in, night out. We're on a mission to raise the creative potential of the UK so we give young people and artists the space to experiment, develop skills and be part of incredible moments that go down in history.
The Role:
We are seeking an experienced Events Manager & Planner to support the management, planning, and execution of the Roundhouse Commercial Events Hire Programme. This role will serve as a key point of contact for event clients and production teams, overseeing the successful delivery of up to 30 events per year.
This role focuses on the planning and operational delivery of events for clients hiring our dry hire venue. Events range from single-day luxury awards ceremonies to multi-day corporate hires for international technology and media companies. Our client base includes industry leaders such as Sky Arts, Universal Music, and Rolling Stone.
Please note that while this position sits within the Commercial Directorate, it is specifically focused on commercial events and does not involve our music programming.
Weekend and evening work will be required according to business needs.
About you:
You should have a minimum of two years' professional experience in event management for private or corporate events, along with a strong working knowledge of the live events industry. Just as important are your exceptional attention to detail, excellent communication and time management skills, and your calm, creative approach to problem-solving.
We welcome applications from people who feel they can bring their own skills, experiences and ideas to the table and empower those around them to do the same. We encourage those currently underrepresented across the cultural sector and all intersections of our diverse society to apply.
The successful candidate must have a current and acceptable DBS check, or be willing to undertake one due to the nature of the role.
