About the Role

Job Title: Events & Community Lead

Experience Level: Senior

Core Skills: Prospecting & pipeline generation, Events management, Customer Engagement, Marketing strategy, Campaign management

Employment Type: Full Time

Locations to Work: Hybrid London, UK

Status: Not Available

Position Roles: Senior Growth Manager, Senior Marketing Manager

What the job involves

You'll be an early commercial hire at one of Europe's most promising early-stage companies working alongside an experienced team who have done this before & worked with the best investors and teams out there. You'll plan, run, and attend unforgettable in-person and virtual events - including executive dinners, customer breakfasts, roundtables, meetups, webinars, and conferences. Recent examples include our Stockholm CFO Series, CPO dinner in Frankfurt, and CFO dinner in London.

You'll play a hands-on role at events - pitching Omnea, qualifying prospects, giving demos, and gathering insights. You'll build the commercial judgment to know what will generate pipeline and what won't, and help filter which opportunities we pursue.

You'll collaborate with sales, marketing, partnerships, and customer success to ensure events are fully integrated across the funnel - from pre-event targeting to post-event follow-up and collateral. You'll be accountable for how events contribute to pipeline and revenue, including managing budgets, measuring ROI, and iterating to focus on what works best.

You'll lead and build our community and events function from scratch, scaling it into a core growth channel within 12-24 months. You'll support customer marketing efforts by activating our champion network through reference calls, community engagement, and success stories that build brand trust and visibility.

You'll conduct competitor and market research to uncover new formats, venues, and moments that will give us a creative and strategic edge. This is a high-leverage, high-visibility role, with a performance-based bonus tied to pipeline generated and overall company revenue - with uncapped upside.

Additional Description

Have 5-8 years of experience driving pipeline generation through events, especially hosted dinners and intimate gatherings, ideally in a startup or fast-paced environment where you owned both strategy and execution. While B2B / SaaS experience is not mandatory, demonstrated success in challenging environments that showcase grit and sales ability is essential. For example, career changers from sectors like law, banking, or consulting who excelled in demanding roles and now seek to learn sales and build a business are encouraged to apply.

You are a natural organizer and operator, passionate about turning chaos into structure, and energized by coordinating large events. You have a bias for logistics, attention to detail, and ownership of the entire event process. You are an exceptional communicator-clear, warm, and confident with stakeholders at all levels. Customer obsession, commercial mindset, and entrepreneurial spirit are key. You thrive in high-ownership environments, value autonomy and accountability, and are excited by frequent international travel.

We work in-office Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. We believe this in-person collaboration is vital at this stage of our growth. We are ambitious, commercial, and looking for candidates eager to make a career-defining impact and help build something impressive. We value transparency and innovation, including the use of AI note-takers during interviews. If you prefer not to have your interview transcribed automatically, please specify this in your application.
