Voices4Care - Share your Voice to make a difference in Palliative Care

Join our volunteer group! A unique opportunity for volunteers to contribute to the future of palliative care services. The All Ireland Institute of Hospice and Palliative Care is offering this unique opportunity for members of the public to help shape the future of palliative care services across the island of Ireland.

Who can join
  • People with an interest in both adult and children's palliative care
  • Carers or former carers of people with palliative care needs
  • People with a life limiting illness / palliative care needs
Opportunities for Voices4Care
  • Sharing your voice and perspective on palliative care services across the island of Ireland
  • Helping to identify areas for research and advising researchers with their projects
  • Contributing to the development of palliative care policy, for example by joining steering committees

What we expect from Voices4Care members
  • Be willing to be involved for up to 24 months, recognising that it may not always be possible to commit for the full period
  • Be open to taking part in online or in-person meetings on topics or areas that interest you
  • Understand that this is a voluntary role. Out of pocket expenses related to involvement will be covered in line with our policies

  • Learn and share through workshops, events, and cross community conversations
